Dear Ms. Garner,

I would like to apologize if I was not able to attend the general meeting yesterday. A client called me and I had to attend to him first because it is an important deal. I am sorry if I forgot my obligations in our organization.

I already asked our secretary for the summary of the meeting and I will look at it as soon as I came back from my trip. Please accept my sincere apology. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Kim Banks
